Description

Scarlett has awoken in hospital, she has no memory of the accident, no recollection of events leading up to it. But she remembers Travis – or is he a mere figment of her imagination? Makayla thinks so. Strange things, unexplainable happenings begin to torment Scarlett. Is she losing her mind? Others, including Makayla, suspect this is so. But her vision of Travis is unequivocal, he must be real, he is real. Is Scarlett the only one who believes this?

Karen Book Buzz Review

The description to this story immediately drew me and I wanted to read more. I particularly liked the short introduction when I started the book. It whet my appetite and made me even more curious.

Scarlett’s accident means that she couldn’t remember it or just before. No one knew of a  boyfriend she claimed to have, either. Was he a phantom lover? Whose footsteps were on the sand with hers as she walked?

There are a few twists in this story that I didn’t see coming. Nicely told and it’s one to capture your imagination as you wonder what was going on,

I didn’t guess the ending and it left me thinking, Oh, really, wow!

This book is part of the Electric Eclectic brand of books and they are all shorter reads. Particularly good if you love reading but don’t have a lot of time. I read this in an evening. It is also a good way to find new authors.

If you are on Goodreads, why not add it to your To Read Shelf.

As Electric Eclectic books are designed to introduce you to new others, I present Carved Wooden Heart by the author. She can weave a good tale and all of them so different.
